Jorge De Hoyos is the newest addition to the Patterson Legal Group team. Jorge is a Wichita native and specializes in personal injury, tort and social security law. He is licensed in Kansas and soon will be in Missouri as well.
Jorge graduated from Wichita State University in 2010. After graduation, Jorge attended the Washburn University School of Law in Topeka. During his tenure at Washburn, Jorge excelled serving as Hispanic American Law Student Association President, Wasburn Law Student Council Communications Officer and also received the Max Rowinsky award for Trial Advocacy. After receiving his Juris Doctorate degree in 2016, Jorge served as the litigation manager for an insurance organization, working to defend governmental organizations from tort claims and litigation.
After his time spent as litigation manager at the organization, Jorge decided to join Patterson Legal Group. When asked why he decided to join the Good Guys, he stated “I want to focus on providing for my clients in their most desperate times. A good attorney is repsonsible, attentive, and compassionate. No firm provides such an amazing, hands-on opportunity like the Patterson Legal Group. I am proud to stand beside our incredible firm in fighting for the rights and futures of all our incredible clients.”
Being a Good Guy isn’t Jorge’s only hobby. When he’s not saving the day fighting for our clients, Jorge is an “avid gym enthusiast, longboard fanatic, and Wichita-proud sightseer.” Outside the courtroom, Jorge can be spotted at local hangouts and events. “Whether it’s sitting beside me at Emerson Biggins as we root on the Shockers, or shaking my hand at one of Wichita’s incredible social organizations, I take a lot of pride in supporting and participating with the City of Wichita.” We welcome Jorge and his awesome abundance of Wichita pride to a team we’re very proud of at Patterson Legal Group!
