Alternative Work

Alternative Work

A new job with your current employer. If your physician indicates you will not be able to return to work at the time of injury, your employer is encouraged to offer you alternative work instead of displacement or vocational rehabilitation benefits.  The alternative work an employer may provide must meet the work restrictions set by your physician, it must last a certain length of time and provide a certain level of pay in relation to the amount you were paid prior to the injury, and it must also be within a reasonable commuting distance of where you lived prior to the injury.

It was comforting knowing that I had the Patterson Legal Group on my side while I was injured in a hit by a drunk driver.  It was nice to be able to heal & recover & not have to worry about the legal part of the insurance company.   Thank Patterson Group for all your help!

We were very pleased the way our accident was handled.  It was a surprise when Gary went to the hospital to visit with us a short time after he was contacted.  Thank you so much.
