Thoughts on Law:
True, we build no bridges, we raise no towers, we construct no engines, We paint no pictures. There is little of all that we do that the eye can see. But we smooth out difficulties; we relieve stress; we correct mistakes; we take up the burdens of others and by our efforts we make possible the peaceful life of men in a peaceful state. John W. Davis
Thoughts on Life:
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through the experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved. Helen Keller
