Kayla Clark

Kayla Clark - PLG AttorneyKayla Clark is a passionate attorney who focuses on social justice. For the past year and a half (August 2022 – February 2024), she served as a legal aid attorney at Kansas Legal Services. There, Kayla represented and advised survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking in navigating divorce, child custody issues, and protection orders.

Her commitment to advocacy extends beyond legal representation. Kayla is experienced in consulting with self-represented litigants at courthouse help centers, ensuring everyone has access to legal guidance.

Prior to entering practice, Kayla honed her legal skills at Washburn Law (2019-2022). She graduated with a Pro Bono Certificate with Distinction, dedicating over 100 hours to legal aid work. Additionally, she earned a Family Law Certificate and actively participated in the Washburn Law Litigation Clinic, gaining invaluable courtroom experience.

Furthermore, Kayla’s legal background is built on a strong foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science (pre-law emphasis) with minors in Vocal Music and Gender Studies from Kansas State University (2015-2019). This diverse academic path reflects her commitment to social justice and effective communication.

When Kayla Clark is not advocating for clients, you can find her curled up with a good book, indulging in creative crafts, or enjoying a lively board game night with her partner, Josie. They also share their home with two beloved pets: Rigby, the chihuahua, and Darcy, the tuxedo cat.
