Gary Patterson
Gary Patterson is the managing member of Patterson Legal Group, LC and has represented injured people for over 20 years. Gary grew up in Savannah, Missouri, and earned his undergraduate degree at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Mo. He was awarded his master’s degree in criminal justice at University of Central Missouri. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a probation and parole officer for the State of Missouri.
Gary earned his Juris Doctorate at Washburn University where he graduated with honors and served on Washburn Law Journal and Moot Court. While in law school, Gary clerked for the Kansas Department of Administration and also for the Shawnee County, Kansas, District Court Judges.
Upon graduation, Gary worked for a large firm in Wichita in the area of civil litigation and in early 1994, Gary left to begin his own law firm. Patterson Legal Group, LC is an outgrowth of the effort.
Gary has been selected as one of the Top 100 Kansas Trial Lawyers by the American Trial Lawyers from 2009-2020. He has also received other honors including repeated recognition as a Super Lawyer in the state of Kansas. He has successfully litigated a variety of cases including wrongful death, medical malpractice, and automotive product liability. He has recovered millions of dollars for the clients of Patterson Legal Group, LC.
Gary has been married to his wife, Ann, for 35 years and has a daughter, Megan and a son, Tyler. He is a doting grandpa to Ava and Ellie.
